A selection of works from the Museum permanent collection by Harvey Breverman, Ohio University Alumni (1960), calls attention to Breverman's mastery of the printmaking medium. Using a wide range of techniques such as lithography, woodcut, intaglio, silkscreen and engraving, Breverman captures personalities of artists (Jim Dine), poets (Alan Ginsberg), writers (Samuel Beckett) and literary critics (Dwight McDonals). This exhibition will connect the artwork as well as the collection of the artist's papers, personal letters and publications. Artist gallery talk: September 30, 5 - 6 PM. Closing reception: September 30, 6 - 8 PM.
